"I highly recommend DCFD Maine Coon Cats. I have purchased 3 fur babies from DCFD Maine Coons. One is six years old, one is 2 and the latest has not come to my home yet. Each one has come to me healthy with all shots and early veterinary care they need.
They are well loved and well socialized. My family can be a busy place with lots of activity with children and grandchildren in and out all the time. The cats are eager to meet new people, play and they show no signs of fear or withdrawing from people. They are friendly and love to play. They are not destructive or wild. They each have their own distinctive personality playful and loving.
I would recommend DCFD Maine Coons to anyone looking for a companion pet. I have rescued many cats and none compare to the cats DCFD raises."

“Nova is now 1.5 years old maine coon from Karen and Chuck. He is handsome, cuddly and hysterically amusing. He is curious about everything. Nova is our youngest kitty and most certainly a benevolent alpha. We couldn’t be happier with our big boy.”

"I had been thinking about adding a Maine Coon to my family for quite a while and I never really found a breeder with whom I was comfortable. About a year ago, I began to seriously research a breeder in Pennsylvania so I could drive and pick the kitten up myself. I decided to fill out a kitten application with Karen and Chuck of DCFD after researching at least 4 other breeders in Pennsylvania. Karen and Chuck answered all of my questions and concerns prior to filling out a kitten application and the entire process was very smooth. On February 6 of this year, I picked up my little (soon to be big) Reid. He fit right in with my other cats without any issues whatsoever and he basically runs the house at this point! He likes to play fetch with his favorite toys and follows me all over the house. Oh, he has the loudest purr I have ever heard! If you are thinking about adding a Maine Coon to your family, do yourself a favor and go straight Karen and Chuck at DCFD Maine Coons!"

"Last year I was looking for a Maine Coon for my daughter as a graduation present. I did a Google search for Maine Coons in PA and had the fortune to find the breeder DCFD MAINE COONS. I visited their website and Facebook page and was amazed at the photo galleries of past and current kittens as well as the champion parents. When we saw a photo of a new kitten (Jasper) a beautiful red, we fell in love. I then sent Karen a message and she asked that we fill out an application for her approval process. From that point forward the fun began. I knew I had found a tremendous breeder. As the time grew closer for us to pick our little Hermey (not too little anymore) she was very informative and helpful. Karen would keep me posted with daily photos and videos of the liter. She is constantly posting pictures on Facebook to show everyone these beautiful kittens. Prior to picking our kitten I received deposit instructions from Karen to use PayPal, which was very easy and safe. When we picked up our new best friend Karen greeted us with open arms, like we were family. Karen was wonderful to do business with, and easy to communicate with. After we took home our kitten Karen would reach out to us to make sure everything was going well. My wife spoke with Karen many times. Karen answered every question in a very timely fashion. Even after we already had Hermey home for several months she continued to help answer our questions & any concerns. We are thrilled with our cat and the experience we had working with Karen. We would highly recommend DCFD MAINE COONS. If you want a Maine Coon this is the breeder you want to work with."

"I have so many amazing things to say about Karen and Chuck I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I will start from the beginning. September 2015 we lost our 13 year old Maine Coon Chewy to intestinal lymphoma . He was my shadow, my baby & my furry soulmate . We have had a few MC’s from different-breeders . I decided not to go with that cattery and started researching. I thought I wanted another brown tabby with low white like Chewy . I searched the Internet for hours and hours looking and reading about different Breeders / catteries . I came across DCFD and requested to join their Facebook page. I think the first thing that I was impressed with was that They do not take a deposit until they have a kitten to offer you. I knew then that they were not in it for the money . I contacted Karen and sent off our application to begin the waitlist process. I have to tell you that I don’t think there has been a day we haven’t communicated since. We were finally offered a Red Male that I turned down only because I wanted another one like Chewy. Then came another litter and was offered another Red Male , and that would be Oliver . Almost everyday there were pictures and videos which I loved. There were many smiles and also some tears. Beautiful Sansa , Oliver’s mother passed away when the litter was 6 or 8 weeks old. I’m sharing this because you need to understand why Karen and Chuck do not offer any kitten out until they know its healthy . I now know what a miracle it is for all of the babies and mommies to survive and stay healthy. I never really thought about it to be honest . We still kept in touch as I update almost daily with new pictures . We wound up losing Zoey our 11 year old Maine Coon over the summer and Karen knew I wanted another Red Male. We waited and waited and then Tucker was offered to us. Killian is the father to both boys. We are beyond in love with these guys. We lost another cat not too long ago to cancer and 2 weeks after that we lost our Female American pit bull terrier. Needless to say we have had a tough year . Karen and Chuck knew we wanted another but this time a female . When we went to pick up Tucker we got to meet some of the new mommies to be . All are So sweet and so beautiful “ not that we weren’t surprised “ lol Tucker was the last of his siblings to leave and Chuck was cuddling with him because he was crying. I have a picture to prove it .😊As I said in the beginning of this now story I would 100% recommend waiting for a DCFD Maine Coon . If you are open to any colors or sex you will probably get one before someone who is looking specifically for a certain color and sex. You obviously have to be approved as these are their babies and they don’t go to just any random person. When They tell you they do not allow visitors to come and see the kittens PLEASE understand it’s in the best interest of the animals. They are not being rude in any way but the babies and mommies are their #1 priority. Our fur family is almost complete. We have gained 2 amazing Red Males and 2 amazing friends for life. Karen & Chuck, Thank you for allowing us to raise 2 of your boys and for having the BEST cattery I have ever seen."
Much Love ,

"Finding DCFD was not only a game changer, it’s been a life changer! I am constantly thanking my husband for not only introducing me to the idea of having Maine Coons but for finding DCFD. From the moment we laid eyes on Hannibal and Clarice our lives have never been the same. I had no idea what I was in for and we simply could not be happier with our ongoing relationship with Karen & Chuck. I say ongoing because not only are they patient in answering any questions we had at the beginning, they continually kept us updated with so many Facebook pictures as they were growing and preparing to join our home. Now that they are with us, we are thrilled to return the gesture and share with them photos of the amazing cats they are growing into. "
"It’s important for us to say that if you are on the “list”, please, please be patient – it is worth the wait! Having met Karen & Chuck we can truly say they are two of the hardest working people we know. They care deeply for their babies. There is so much that goes into making sure everyone is healthy, loved and well cared for and while it may be hard to contain your excitement, we can now attest to the fact that they have a system in place that simply works. Trust the process and you will not regret it! Thank you Karen & Chuck! For everything! Looking forward to a long relationship with you and the DCFD “community”!
